Fix: black or blank window
On Windows, a window that flashes and turns black usually means Microsoft's WebView2 component, which draws the window, has stopped working. Reinstalling RuneTranslate doesn't fix that.
Try these in order:
Repair WebView2
Open Windows Settings, Apps, find Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime, then choose Modify and Repair. If it isn't listed, install it from Microsoft.
Clear the window's cache
Close RuneTranslate and delete the folder below. It only holds cached browser data. Your projects and settings are stored elsewhere.

If the window goes black when you open or create one particular project, the project may be too large. See Project too large to open.
If it continues
Report it. On Linux, include your distribution's name and version.
